Payroll and expenses, in every employee's pocket.
Payloom is the project codename for a payroll and expense app we built for a company's in-house finance team. Employees photograph a receipt to claim an expense and open their payslips on their phone, managers approve claims in the app, and the finance team runs everything from a web admin panel with reports. It runs on iOS and Android from one React Native codebase.

Money questions shouldn't need a trip to finance.
The company wanted its payroll and staff expenses handled in-house, in an app built around the way its own finance team works.
That system had to work for two very different groups. Employees needed something quick on their phone: claim an expense, check a payslip, move on. The finance team needed full control, a clear approval trail and reports they could trust.

Snap the receipt
The employee photographs the receipt in the app and adds the details of the expense.

Submit the claim
The claim is sent for approval with the receipt attached, so nothing gets lost on the way.

The approver reviews the claim in the app and approves or rejects it.

Recorded for finance
The decision is stored, and the finance team sees it in the admin panel and in its reports.

The result
Payroll and expenses now run in one system the company owns. Expense claims move from a receipt photo to an approval inside a single app, with the receipt attached and the decision recorded.
Employees open their own payslips on their phone whenever they need them, and finance works from one admin panel with the reports it needs.
